Traffic passes on a tree-lined street in the early spring, before the leaves have sprouted. Birds sing and there are several minutes of ambience. Then, a siren can be heard in the distance and eventually, a big fire engine passes, siren blaring and engine roaring.
The chirping sound from a crosswalk traffic light beeping. The siren from a fire-engine can be heard in the background. There is also some distant city traffic.
This a sound effect i created in acid pro for a play. It is intended to represent a conflagration with an explosive start, a fire alarm and then the approach of fire engines. The play was set in the eighties. It is made from a combination of sounds drawn from field recordings, freesound effects and purchased sound effects.
