A simple phrase "when my work is finished, than i'm coming back for you!" in a dark undead-ish voice. Recorded with a cheap desktop mic and fiddled with in audacity. This is a slightly different version with an echo effect applied in the reversed sample rather than the normal.

I heard these owls outside my window this evening. I live next to a large field and it attracts birds of prey frequently. I managed to capture them conversing back and forth. Unfortunately, the neighbors dog had to chime in. But, even that sounds kind of neat with the natural reverb of the open space.

Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.

This is a clip of various engine sounds recorded on my 2003 subaru impreza wrx with a 3" turbo-back exhaust system. The audio starts with the engine at idle and includes a few engine revs at different rpms. You can hear some turbo whistling and also some rattling of god-knows-what parts. It's a little muffled (kind of a muddy sound), but could be used as part of an action sequence or with a music track laid over. Here's a low volume, low frequency noise recorded during an acoustic survey of a condominium to identify a sleep-disturbing noise. It is primarily a combination of 13, 18 and 23 hz (5 hz steps). I was recording with audacity on my blue yeti whilst in my room. The mic was totally unbalanced on my bed and it eventually fell over but when i played it back it sounded like a nice whoosh or poof. Also if you put it in reverse it sounds like a giant wind flap like a bird or something.

This is a simple dry (no effects) 4 track recording with just drums bass and 2 guitars. The reason i use 2 guitar tracks is to fatten the sound. It could have been done with just 3 tracks but this is the sound i shoot for in my rhythm tracks.
