I needed the sound of a domed lid being lifted off a dinner platter. I looked here but didn't see what i needed so i broke out the zoom h2n and recorded my own (i keep forgetting that i have that). Hope you can use it.

Making a brew in 3d binaural audio with sr3d binaural dummy head.

Our good old bosch dishwasher is doing its magic. This is a more rhythmic loop. You can hear a glass or bowl squeaking/ringing in the water jet inside the device. Recorded x/y stereo with two audio technica at4041 mics into a marantz pmd 661 recorder. Normalized plus some eqing using fabfilter pro-q3.

Shaking a small glass bottle with oregano in it. The first half is shaking it with the lid on, the middle is shaking it into a plastic bowl, and the last part is shaking it into an empty ceramic bowl. Recorded with my lumix g7 camera with rode video micro attached to it.

This is a field-recording of washing up / doing the dishes after a small lunch. All separate steps of the process are included in the recording:0:00 - 0:54 s: filling the sink1:00 - 3:10 s: washing up3:10 - 6:03 s: drying the dishes with a towel and ranging them in cupboards and drawers6:03 - 6:21 s: draining the sink6:21 - end : cleaning the sink. Frying bacon on an induction stove.

I was filling a giant plastic bucket in the kitchen full of water using the hose attachment. I tried let the water hit the bucket in different ways to change the acoustics of the sound over time. If you can use this, go nuts - i'd love to hear anything you can do with it.

This is the latest homework i have done, for this one i imagined this:its as if you were hearing from the ears of the person in the cashier spot, at a busy restaurant, this person gets caught in a time wrap and they start to like trip on these sounds from the kitchen, the stage across the bar, and even them turning a page on their boring magazine. This is a recording of a refrigerator door opening and closing. It was recorded with a sennheiser me66 and a tascam dr-60d.

Letting water inta an old metal kitchen sink:. - first several times into an empty sink with the drain open - with very audible drops on the metal sink at start and end. - then once filling the sink and draining the filled sink with some gurgling of the drain at the end. Recorded with an stereo pair of km184 into a tascam hd-p2, 48khz, 24bit.

Combined fridge/freezer. Recorded from the side near the floor. You can hear the compressor motor and the refrigerant gently boiling.
