Rain from the city of caracas, venezuela. Recorded in june 2018 with huawei p7 2017 lite.

Recorded on the shortest day of the year at the edge of a lake where the wind was gusting from the south at 15 to 20 miles an hour. At the beginning you hear some geese in the distance. This recording was made using my sony pcm m-10 with it's internal microphones set to level 5 input volume. I actually placed the recorder, carefully, in a crook of some branches in an oak tree about 5 feet above the ground---very near a big clump of dead and brown oak leaves. . . . This gives you that wonderful sound of the wind hissing through the leaves.

Made this using a freeware synth in fl studio, i've used granular effects to simulate this "breathing thing" as it sounds very cold to me.

When you don´t find what you´re looking for, it´s better to do it by yourself :-). My sneeze recorded with an htc u11 plus and corrected in adobe audition.

A recording made, midday, on thursday december 8 2022 of a light, but very cold rain hitting the bare trees and the wet, brown leaves on the ground in a midwestern usa forest. Towards the end you'll be treated to a group of blue jays making a huge racket!other than that, no animal sounds at all. Just the slow, steady tip tip tap smack of raindrops falling from a cold-steel and gray sky. Recording made with sound devices mixpre-3 series ii, in 32 bit float mode. Left microphone- deity s mic 2sright microphone- sennheiser mkh 8020.

An alternative "riser" with a strong suspenseful atmos and cold metallic tones. Originally edited from a stretched and filtered sound of a bed frame being hit. I imagine, however macabre, the lasting shot of a character demise or a shocking sound cue for particularly transgressive notions.

Freezing rain recorded falling underneath a tree at night. Some unfortunate rumble from a nearby airport, could be eq'd out (or left in for something spooky!).

My hand grabbing ice from the cooler in my freezer, some clattering and scooping sounds as the ice cubes crackle off one another.

This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by filtering or timestretching the files.

A wind sound created with a white noise generator and a low pass filter on my console. I played with the cutoff frequency and a few eq peaks to vary the sound. Recorded at 44. 1k 16bit in stereo.
