I've been working on a plugin for unity to allow users to create short loops from arrangements of other loops. Seems to be working pretty well, pretty much like a low-tech version of acid. Anyways, this was a little arrangement i made as a test, and i kinda like it so i thought i'd post it here for feedback and such. Feel free to use this loop for any project in any way, credit is not required.

I decided to tinker around on an old kid's practice first act piano. There are metal rods inside that are struck, and produce a plink/ringing sound. It is also out of tune, which makes it wonderful for producing an eerie feeling when played in a minor key.

Yep, i'm reading alen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 4. Changed pitch on one osc and added some drums. Some editing in audacity compressor and limiter.

The story begins by a music that i found. A open door, heels, then silence, a chair, computer sounds with mouse, retake of music and close of the door. , who is the ending of music too. To produce that, i choose audacity; i take recorded moments of life. For the technique, i choose a fade in and fade out for the music and the recorded sounds fit well together. For the moments of silence, when the work begins, i only let the recorded sound talk without music. I choose to work with two mono audio tracks: on for the music and the other for the daily sounds. Descriptif selon la typologie de schaeffer. 1. Masse : son dit “cannelés”2. Timbre harmonique :3. Grain : rugueux4. Allure : non vibrato5. Dynamique : abrupte6. Pajarito it's the name of the song. What you hear are jacanas, the small traditional guitars used by jarocho's musicians, and one requinto guitar (and some kids laughing). Playing jaranas: elías meléndez, who i personally dubbed as "the muddy waters of son jarocho" -he passed away on 2017-; arturo barradas, leader of soneros del tesechoacan, a famous jarocho music band, and his son, young elías barradas. Playing the requinto guitar is adrián luna, who for many years was a member of the grammy awardees group los cojolites. Adrián luna's voice is on one song (el conejo) included in the soundtrack of the two oscars winner and internationally recognized movie frida (2002). Recorded with zoom, in 2013, in tuxtepec, oaxaca, during a jam session. Rip elías meléndez.

All i did was cleaned up the annoying ringing noise heard throughout the old version, removed some light hiss and reversed the music to go both forwards and backwards.

Recorded 18 january, 2020 in las vegas, nv at baseball parks. Recorded with a tascam dr-05x record; no adjustments have been made. The recorder was handheld as i walked along the various baseball fields. You'll hear my foot steps.
