Then i walked past it and sat down for the majority of the recording where you can hear the second construction site that is about a short-block away and that's where all the hammering is coming from. A recording of an entire journey on the london underground (jubilee line) but could pass as any subway/metro if you remove the train announcements. The recording begins at the top of escalators, travels to the platform, boards the train, then covers the whole journey, getting out of the train, and ascending the escalators at the other end.

I chose to record the scene because i thought this was a typical parisian soundscape, something parisian subway users experiment every day, and a real insight on how this city actually sounds.
