I have never sabotaged someone's car tyres. I was curious and wondered how it may be feeling to puncture a tyre, so i ran a bowie knife in a old wheel i had. It wasn't so easy as i thought, had to use rather strong hand.
I used the sound of a brush scraping as the source, added the sound you get when you twist a russian doll (already convolved with itself), and this was the result. To me it sounds a little bit like wind.
Polar wind sound made with mouth blowing into hollow objects. Projet “bruitages” coordonné par josé carrasco, classe de jérôme euphrosine au lycée français de barcelone, hiver 2013.
My wife blowing into a usb microphone, making a "fwwwwpt!" sound, but reversed to sound like a blowgun. Recorded for the point-and-click adventure game, "the beard in the mirror. ".
A fan blowing, set to the highest setting. There's a strong low end presence, interestingly. The recording was made from behind the fan so the air wouldn't blow into the mic directly. Recorded with a zoom h1.
24-bit wav. Recorded with tascam dr-44wl on a windy day in my backyard. Hiding behind a fence using a hat as a wind shield. Stereo widening using hard pan and 5ms delay (so the first impulse of the sound is a bit weird).
