Varied hits on materials in my basement - cardboard boxes, a treadmill, wooden table, etc. . . Most of the sounds from this pack were extracted from a recording of me striking said objects with my palm. Because of proximity effect, i found some of these to be useful for the sound of an object hitting the ground.

I recorded this with my zoom h2. Held the recorder the wrong way at first so for the first half of the recording you hear more reverb than direct sound, then realised my mistake and turned it the right way. I made some splashes with my hand so that it doesn't sound too monotonous. Some of the sound is water running into the bath, some - into the sink, i'm sure you can hear which is which. Hope you find it useful for whatever purpose you might need it.

To make these sounds, i hit my knuckles onto a thin sheet of metal on a bookshelf. The last sound on the recording was also made by dropping a coin onto the same spot on the shelf. If you use this in a project that gets released online or elsewhere, please comment and let me know about it! :).

Recording of knocking on three kinds of glass for effect of tapping on window (recorded as foley for characters tapping on viewer's screen from the inside). First is damped thick glass, second is undamped thick glass, third is double-glazed window pane. Knocks separated to allow reverb and dynamics to damp down between them, background noise lightly cleaned.

Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz / 24-bit. Converted to flac using sox. No processing or editing was performed for maximum flexibility nad retaiging highest quality. Also out of laziness. Enjoy!.

Just tapping things around my desk with a screwdriver and jingling the loose change inside a glass jar. I had the mind to use all of the sounds in this file for a kick/snare/hi hat drum rack in ableton live - hence the ranges of frequency from low (jar thumps) to textured highs (loose change) and high (taps. ) i hope these come in handy, please enjoy! - vanszi.
