I created this sound to emulate what a dance beat might sound like in a canyon. Was originally a hot dog warmer with a nice rattle to it. Recorded on zoom h2.

I applied 300 hz steep low pass (eq) on an inverse sawtooth soundwave generator. I applied many delay effects in tandem. Created on fruity loops and re-equed on wavelab. Mystic(has three submodes, scale-shifts [same intervals, overall shifted]). • do, re#, mi, sol, sol#, si• do, do#, mi, fa, sol#, la• do#, re, fa, fa# la, la#. (semitonally/fret steps: 0, +1, +3, +1, +3, +1, +3). (si = ti, do = c). It is chordable.

This was recorded in the burbank town center food-court area. I was careful to avoid specific conversation for legal purposes. There was a cranky baby nearby, so you get an occasional frantic cry. The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. The amtrak pacific surfliner winds it'd way up and down the pacific coast coast. This train is known for spectacular coastal views. Here you can hear this high-speed train come screaming through burbank's downtown station (traffic can be heard on i-5 in the distance). You will hear a security guard walk behind me just before the train comes through. He was one of our trusty transpo officers making sure i wasn't up to no good with my zoomh4n device.
