Whales spouting or blowing water out their blowholes far out at sea

A recording of an entire journey on the london underground (jubilee line) but could pass as any subway/metro if you remove the train announcements. The recording begins at the top of escalators, travels to the platform, boards the train, then covers the whole journey, getting out of the train, and ascending the escalators at the other end.

I took the sound "arpasauro atmo" from thalamus_lab and stretched it + fading in and out, because i needed a longer version. I just love the atmosphere it creates! the gong at the beginning transmuted into some kind of a mystical choir and at the end the short squeaking turned into some kind of a slow door groan. . While i was on vacation, this two fellas just loved to bark almost all night long. Yeah, i know, some rest i got. . . :(so, at least i went out and recorded them with my zoom h6, xy mics, 44khz 16bit. They got pretty upset as you can see. There's some low frequency rumble at the beginning probably due to bad handling, sorry. Should be easily solved with a lo-cut, though.

Tennis ball bouncing on a tennis racket: in this sound you hear a tennis ball bounce on a tennis racket. At times the racket makes a metallic sound when the ball bounces off it. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I added a low shelf and and 2 bands to try and make it sound less metallic at times. The ball used is a wilson ball and a wilson tennis racket.

Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

I just pitch up my voice where it's at a comfortable level and not at the highest peak in pitch. I slowly ease into the vocal sound to avoid any vocal damage. While i'm easing in there's a very quiet high pitch whistle coming from the back of my throat, too quiet for the microphone. Sometimes while recording i do get a squeak and a crackle sound that gets picked up, but none of that here.

If you wanted the mower to be heard from an inside area you could add a high pass filter to the recording. Please note this wasn't taken with the average household mower it was taken with a heavy duty lawn mower used for cutting large areas of grass so it doesn’t have the same sound as a regular mower.
