A dry-erase marker squeaking on a whiteboard. Squeaking, rubbing, could be used for other things on a similar kind of surface. Recorded with zoom h1, in a classroom.
This is an aif (garage band) file of just good ol' tape hiss recorded from a jvc tape machine (cassette). It's just tape hiss. You can change the freq to help blend it in your recordings. I have the volume on this at a higher level. When i blend this with my digital recordings i turn it down just enough to hear it without it being too analog sounding. Hope you can use it. It's great for soft passes and solo instruments, much like white noise of a studio perhaps.
White noise fades in to climax with slight reverb at end. Atmospheric - an unsettling transition or sudden ending. Generated with audacity on a mac - 16-bit wav. I made this from scratch very quickly (after hours of searching for just the right sound!).
Slightly shocking short white noise fade in (2 secs) with a little reverb at end. Generated from scratch using audacity (mac version) 16-bit aif version. A simple, atmospheric sudden ending or transition.
Just some white noise recorded from a car radio. All my sounds are fully free to use, but please consider leaving a comment to let me know how you'll be using them. Just curious! :).
A fading in white noise sound, for use as transition or a crescendo. I was trying to imitate the sound when you wake up in the video game "outer wilds" (an example: https://youtu. Be/zy5heapfjqw?t=5402 ) this sound was made by blowing to a microphone, slightly processed.
A simple but effective white noise sweep up created using a white noise signal, using automation to change a simple filter and colour to the sound to create a sweep effect.
Line in recording of me searching through radio channels on a ghetto blaster's radio i found on the side of the road. Includes weather and news reports.
We've recorded the sound produced by writing in one of the whitebords which are in the libary of the poblenou campus of the pompeu fabra university (upf).
Created in waveform-10 using 1 instance of zynaddsubfx with 3 layers of hi pass filtered oscillators which were tweaked in detail to sound more like noise. Theres a little reverb, delay and distortion in there. The other oscillator was white noise created in 4osc ( native waveform-10 plugin ).
Me uncapping a marker, drawing a star, capping it again, and setting it down. Feel free to use this for any animation, game, movie, or project. You don't have to credit me if you don't want to. Edited in audacity.
This series is about transition sfx, this is stacked sound effects made with xsynth, dex and amsynth, randomized in carla and layered with cymbal samples i recorded a long time ago.
