Wine glass played with a human finger. Recorded with the built in isight camera on my screen. (no fingers were severed in the making of this recording. ).
I washed up some glasses and found them making a loud dripping noise when left on to dry. The water was dripping off the glass onto the corrugated drying side and forming a little wall with each drip, each time there as a drip the wall broke transferred the vibration on to the resonating tumbler.
Recording of water filling the glass. Recorded with jjc sgm-v1. You don't have to credit me anywhere but if you liked this sound effect, please let me know in the comments where you've used it. Thanks!.
Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I recorded this for my own sound design purposes (game sfx) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy!.

Using a tumbler glass, i placed my mouth close and started blowing. It sounds like an airoplane far in the sky, or an eerie environment. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.
Four beer bottles clinking together to emulate the sound of milk bottles clinking in a rack. Recorded for a production of our town. Recorded using audio technica at2020. Room noise removed with audacity.
Small plastic slides being moved around the rough, metallic tops of a speaker. Originally intended to be used as microscope slides, but obviously this can be used for other things as well.
Ice cubes being poured from a stainless steel cocktail mixer into a tumbler style glass recorded with a sterling audio st51 condenser microphone a few feet away.
Been downloading off this site for ages and thought i'd give something i recorded back. I drank from a glass bottle by a mic to recreate a character in a film drinking some beer from a glass bottle. A small sound but in those quiet scenes i think noises like this make all the difference. Done on my olympus dm5 recorder that i use for last minute foley. Hooray i'm finally on here!.
In a basement i recorded noises made with a big glass plate. Rattling, shaking, scraping on the floor, etc. Recorded in stereo with rode nt4 in zoom h4 handy recorder.
