This sound or sounds was created through the help of vst's, time shifting, parametric eq, cutting, sampling, layering and many other methods of sound manipulation.
This sound was recorded in the peninsula de paraguaná, venezuela. It has waves from the beach and some wind, you can also listen to distant playing children voices. Recorded with a roland edirol r44 int stereo mic. Enjoy! leave comment if you like.
Medium sized waves recorded sitting on a groyn (no giggling - that's the name given for a construction of wood or rock going out perpendicular to the coast to avoid erosion or longshoredrift)from whence i could get the gurgling of the water as well as the crashing of the small waves and the sucking and pulling of the stones. Recorded on a minidisk with an sm58 from what i recall.
The pacific coast highway (highway 1), point magu california. Taken on the side of the road beside the ocean. Overcast day, shortly before it began raining, so the waves are strong, hitting the beach hard. Enjoy. :).

I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

A recording that i did on a shoot for some ambient sound while in a small 10' motor boat. The motor runs for a little while but then turns off and the sound of the boat just floating in the water can be heard. The mic is moved around a bit to get a few samples of different perspectives.
