Sparrows flying from branch to branch in a bare rose bush. Unintentional capture of sound as i was just out walking testing new equipment. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). Calm meadow, south of france, end of the summer, 6 min. Insects, many flies, some grasshooper, different birs including pheasant (2. 03). A robin is arriving during the recording (3. 10) and stays very next to us, on the right hand side, sometimes flitting. 2009. Heard this out my window at 11:30 at night, 05/14/20, central new jersey. Probably a fox. From some brief research into fox calls (there are over 40 known calls) with this video https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=j6nuhlibhsm it sounds like either an alarm bark or vixen scream.
