Shower is turned on through tub pull which then runs uninterrupted, then splashes and moving is added to simulate someone in the shower. Then the shower is turned off. Recorded with built-in mic on h4n pro.

Thunderstorm recorded in my back garden, late spring. Zoom h1.

Sounds of loud thunder, rain, and drops of water occasionally pinging off metal. Taken in an urban cityscape, surrounded by an apartment complex (yielding a bit of an echo).

Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal done. Recorded some basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. Convolution reverb was added for a fairly realistic set-it-and-forget-it option. I've uploaded a dry version as well.

Basic rain sound using tascam dr-40.

This is a segment of a larger recording of a thunderstorm from march 24, 2012, in greensboro, north carolina, usa, including some small hail. This was taken on the night of march 24, 2012, with an olympus ls100 and an audio technica at-822 single-point x/y stereo microphone.

Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Same mix as my other "five minutes of rain" upload, but without the reverb in case you want to add your own. Process:. What a storm last night! it was already dark outside as i saw lighting in the distance. It was kind of a scary situation but for sound i thought it will be awesome! i opened the balcony door and rolled down the 30 years old window blind ( i have a sound of this blind here on the channel) behind the window blind i started recording how the rain hammered against the blind! you can also listen to the wind between the units on this blind! i also recorded with the go pro the outside so that you can see the thunder, the rain and the lightning!.
