Sound of a ships sail being deployed quickly, or released into wind. Made to become one part for a harbour ambiance. Created by waving around the blanket of my bed. Recorded with focusrite scarlett and rode nt5. Slight reverb and some eq added (especially to enhance low frequencies).

Made with reaktor using a doppler/ compression and fx. Using a combination of wind animal cries, and door closes. Whoosh space ship whiz wiz flyby woosh swipe swoosh swosh swish.

The rover’s mast, holding the microphone, was still stowed on perseverance’s deck, and so the sound is muffled, a little like the sound one hears listening to a seashell or having a hand cupped over the ear.
