Breaking glass.

Very high velocity stroke with 5a wooden mallet in paiste pst3 20" crash on stand. Recorded with pair of akg p120 mics on stands and tascam dr-60 mkii recorder. Middle-side recording technique. Middle mic next to crash, side mic in a distance of 1m. Recorded in tiny kitchen with doors closed. Few ringing partials were tamed with parametric equalizer. Sound faded out in flstudio edison. Recorded in 96khz and 24bit.

Nice non-musical crash, probably something falling in a restaurant, but sounds like foley!.

It's supposed to be the sound of something hitting something metal, but it was made with the sound of me whacking a metal pipe with a pencil and a bit of editing on the computer.

This is the sound of a plastic trashcan dropping and bouncing around.

This goes with the 110 bpm thrash metal groove. You could put it after the "110 bpm thrash metal groove" to give a blasting midtempo.

A mix between 2 different crash, this is what comes up. Quite happy of this one, but you can add hi frequencies.

This is a recording of the scariest/weirdest computer crash i ever experienced. I was working in after affects when the screen froze and this sound started blaring through my headphones. I unplugged myself and let it play through the speakers then decided it was really neat sounding, so i took a mic and recorded it. This was a couple years ago but i never uploaded it because the recording didn't do it justice. I opened the file recently and thought it sounded kind of neat anyway, so here you go, internet. The sound of windows 7 rebelling and trying to come to life.

At about 3:30 this morning, a car crashed into my nabour's gate with a loud bang! recorder used: philips dvt5000.

The noise of lots of small semi-soft objects dropping to the floor all at once.

808 cymbal (or open hihat) sent through through a joe meek optical compressor. The analog processing filled out the sound in a nice way.

Metallic crash.

I threw some pots and pans onto a concrete floor to get background sounds for a video i was working on. The track includes 7 different elements. Not intended to be used together but provided this way to offer a variety of similar but different sounds.

Sounds like a character is getting blasted backwards by some gnarly force !.
