Recorded some sounds, filtered out the noize, reversed it and put paulstretcher on it. Had to amplify the bass, because there was an incredibly awkward high-pitch sound in the background. Two-tone zombie moan. No effects used. The trick is to push the back of your tongue to the wall of your throat to get the whistle/strangled effect.

My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.

Process: a while ago i worked on a game and recorded several sound effects, one track after another. With the session set up the way it was, i opened all the channels and selected a section and exported it. After exporting, i threw it into paulstretch, and rendered that at the default settings. In this sound i can imagine a monster in a horror game that is stressed because it can't catch its prey or another thing i can imagine is that the beast has been injured and is roaming around in pain. I took one of the monster very deep voice sound and tweaked it to sound like some kind of raging infected because i had to do it for a game. It's kind of like the sound zombies make in movies where they are not really zombies but raging infected people. I used : pitch shift, time shift, octaver, eq, overdrive.
