I'm cutting bread with a bread knife.

Letting water inta an old metal kitchen sink:. - first several times into an empty sink with the drain open - with very audible drops on the metal sink at start and end. - then once filling the sink and draining the filled sink with some gurgling of the drain at the end. This is a recording of a refrigerator door opening and closing. It was recorded with a sennheiser me66 and a tascam dr-60d.

Braun model 3105 coffee maker. Multiple takes of picking up and replacing the glass carafe on the hotplate. The left channel is a sennheiser mkh-416 and the right channel is an akg c414 b-uls, both into a john hardy m-1 preamp into pro tools. Each mic has a slightly different recording position. The akg has more of a "room" perspective whereas the sennheiser gives a close up, detailed perspective.
