Here is a recording i made of my kitchen hob igniting. I used a lighter to ignite the gas instead of the built in igniter as i didn't want the 'click click click" to ruin the recording of the flame. Sennheiser mkh 416 - sound devices 442 - tascam dr680. .

My keurig coffee maker has been sounding a little rough so i decided to record it with my zoom h1n this morning as it made me a cup of coffee. It's the entire cycle with the general noise of a kitchen. Mainly you can hear my 20 year old fridge humming in the background during the quit parts of the keurig cycle. Don't plan on using it for anything, so have fun with it. The audio from when the coffee starts to pour into my cup is on the left side, so that was pretty cool to listen too on the headphones when i played it back.

I like the first cup of coffee from a good coffee maker. Inevitably though, it gets left on, and then to me it is undrinkable. Overcooked. Terrible. The waste is unacceptable to me. So, we can agree on that, and my partner was about to make a cup for himself. I got it all, jar lids, spooning, stirring with a spoon in a ceramic cup, adding sugar and milk. The last soft thud is the fridge door closing.
