Recording of the tires of a flat bed trailer going over a gravel path. This was from a hayride where i was sitting in the back with a bunch of kids being pulled by the tractor. Recorder was just a couple of feet from the wheel so most of the kids noises and even the tractor engine get drowned out, but still somewhat audible in spots. There are two recordings, one taken from the side with the mic at the wheel and one with the mic under the trailer while recording. (this is the one with the recorder off to the side. ). Riding my mountain bike on gravel trail at baylands nature preserve in palo alto ca. Recorded on my galaxy note 2 cellphone. Edited in cyberlink power director 13. This is actually two separate tracks equalized differently to accentuate the crunch of the gravel, and to minimize wind noise. Output in mono.

Atmo of a radiator in a small bath room with the sound of the water tap turning on and off in the kitchen beneath. Recorded on a zoom h5 with x/y-head.

A number of coins dropping on to concrete made by overlaying a single coin drop and offsetting multiple times. Made using two coin loops in logic x but creating a number of tracks, offsetting the loops at 'random' to create the sound of multiple coins. Also truncated some loops for variation.

Pretty much all bellbirds again. 2 or 3 cars go by - but this is no good if you are after a drive-by sound unless you are ok with the bellbirds.
