This is a record from a real pianist. I decided to put 4 different records together. If you know the orignal music you can hear each one clearly. It's an experiment to see how different sounds from the same instrument sounds like.

Synthetic and musique-concrete for an experimental demo soundtrack. Used mimeophon, erbe-verb, dpo and qpas to create a "who pushed the button?" soundtrack. Great fun converting the sound of a pencil on paper to one part of the track. Enjoy!.

This track reflects how the brahman from the track crystal heartbeat continues his meditation. He discovers that the created connection is a gate between this world and the world of crystals. He is one little step closer to fully experience the infinite "unity of things", "the stream of life that flows in and through all things. ".

So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. Funny story. . . The reason this one is from far away is because while recording a narration, a lovely spider decided to descend from the ceiling, and i flipped out, having decently bad arachnophobia. It also got near my hamster's cage, so naturally i bellowed "die!" when killing it. I'm uh. . . Very passionate about certain things. I myself need genuinely real vocal reactions. I often look for voice clips here on freesound, and there's just some stuff that isn't here. I know i'm not the only one, either, so i post mine as well so others may use them. Interestingly, i've gotten one person who took the time to uh. . . Tell me how they. . . Disapproved of my voice clips, so i just wanted to say that if you wanna use them, do, if not, don't, that's why they are there. I enjoy animating, and others do too, wanting to use others' voice clips. I also had a couple people make techno remixes of a lot of my sounds (thank you by the way, they're awesome). It's not that i care about the. . . Interesting way the one person expressed their opinion, it's just to let some similar acting people know that i post these for a reason. *shrug* but whatever floats your zeppelin, i honestly don't care. Anyway, for those who do use them, thank you. :p.

Worth mentioning that the groan track is separate from the conversation, for those who want to use just one or the other. I hesitate to say i'm in training, but in a way i am. I don't really know what sorts of things i can get away with, so i have become acquainted with a brit who, i thought, knows everything there is to know. Instead, she may be a bit of an experimenter, and she practices a bit fast and loose. I surely can tell she loves it. . . During this bit of conversation i saw her reach and turn the clamping screws tighter. Extrusion. Interesting. One might wonder why he puts up with it, and i can tell you, he doesn't. A session like this one and he doesn't speak to me for a week. It goes on, i can tell you, at least until he finds where i keep the handcuffs. I do know where to find another pair.

I've benefited from freesound in the past so i wanted to give something back. I created this audio sample of the black speech of mordor (a section of the ring poem), as part of a cinematic orchestral lord of the rings piece to add flavour to it and wondered if others might find a use for it in their own projects. The sample does have added reverb but to my ears this is not excessive. The phrase is:-. Ash nazg durbatulûk,ash nazg gimbatul,ash nazg thrakatulûkagh burzum-ishi krimpatul. This translates to:-. A high-pitched, metal windchime, sent through some granular processing software. The reel is divided into two, long halves: one with the sound playing forwards and one with it playing in reverse. This means i can easily switch from forward to reverse without tuning issues, simply by applying cv to the morphagene's 'slide' control.

Field recordings extracted from videos i took while travelling on a vaporetto (small public transport canal boat) along the grand canal. You can hear the water, the engine revving as the boat criss-crosses the canal from one stop to the next and the(mostly english)chatter of other passengers on the boat. On "venice2" horns are blown by other vessels and someone says at the end "i'm getting off the boat". I have joined 2 tracks on this one and there is a small gap, but with the right equipment that can be edited out. All in all very evocative of the busy atmosphere in venice, even in march (2012).

The ambiance of the famous strasbourg christmas market, known as one of the oldest in the world (first edition took place in 1570) and the city's biggest touristic event, gathering thousands of people downtown for one month at the end of every year. I took my zoom h2n in different places, capturing a slightly different mood each time. Expect lots of crowd sounds, background music, street atmosphere and. . . A lot of different languages (french, german, spanish, english. . . . All recordings made in ms stereo mode (120° setting).

Some sounds of blowing across the top of a glass bottle. Specifically a 33cl cider bottle. :-). Captured using a rode nt5 small-diaphragm condenser microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Basic editing in ocenaudio, also applied some slight de-reverberation. I intend to record a proper version later on, including different articulations at various pitches. But that may take a while. Because one beheading sound effect is just never enough. This time, the murderer continues to attack after the head has fallen off. Why? i don't know. . A mix down of several freesounds to create the sound of a beheading, all were in the public domain as always. .

This is one of the original tubular bells used by mike oldfield, possibly for the 1999 tour. Note: this bell is only a dummy bell. It was stuffed with foam and fitted with a transducer to trigger a sample. I took the foam out and gave it a thwack! great fun but it sounds absolutely terrible in my opinion.

This is probably one of the best snares i have made yet. Hard transient, tape saturated, and squashed to bits, when played with very bright sounds and heavy bass, this really can handle it, and cut through.

It's a sound i got from a lost recovered wav file. It was a 24-bit file but i have imported it as a 16-bit one, the ruseulting sound is an interenstin non-uniform noise with a modulation to it. Could be a neat sound for broken electronics.

This is a digital swoosh sound that i made for a track because i couldn't find one so i made it my self using a synth and an fx vst, it sounds like a cross between a sea wave and a jet pass.

Strange radio interference picked up between radio channels at 3am one morning. (i'm reasonably sure this some sort of strange em phenomenon rather than someone else's composition being broadcast; if i am wrong, i will be happy to take it down. ).

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.

It has a main hole through which it was blown, producing a deep trumpet-like sound. . . . Certain traditions point out that when blowing in one of its holes, there was a loud audible sound to the region of poike (3 km far away) that attracted the fish to the coast.

Basically i recorded a fidget spinner spinning into my windshield of my condenser microphone, it made a cool low end sound. I made some post processing at the end just to make it sound more cohesive. The sound is tuned to g but the pitch slightly bends.

Unlocking the safety frontdoor with keys needs more than one turn. Then closing and locking it again. The second unlock has a pause before the mechanism finally unlocks the door. At the end the door is getting locked from the inside with keys.

My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.

Just walking around sam's club one afternoon and picking up the store ambience and overall sound of the space which is a big warehouse type building. Midway thru some starts talking thru the loudspeaker.

So yeah i decided to do an impression of @reitanna 's character annatier. And i did one of her lines from her reitanna fictions called annatier's descent and all of this was edited and recorded on audacity and annatier rightfully belongs to reitanna.

This recording is from highland park, a chicago suburb. A few things you'll hear is the sounds of birds chirping and drops of water hitting a puddle. The water was coming from a gutter and dropping water, one drop at a time, from roughly 15ft. The puddle was roughly 2 inches in depth.

This is the sound the drum makes when one rapidly taps on it with the fingers. --general sample pack desc--samples of my djembe drum, recorded with my mp3 player's mic. Obviously low-fi but it sounds really nice. And some post-processing never hurts anyway.

A simple bell sound created with additive synthesis. A combination of eleven oscillator, each one with a different envelope. The resulting udible tone is more or less a b. The sound itself is mixed with a simple piano b note, just to aid tone recognition.
