Sound of a manual pencil sharpener's handle being cranked without anything in the sharpener itself. The sharpener is shaped like a camera. Recorded in the lab sound booth at confederation college. Recorded at 48,000 hz. .

A raw audio mp3 recording of two actual swords crashing together; the sound is almost like a bell. The only background sound is a rather noisy clock, which can be taken out. Recorded with a black sony ic digital voice recorder.

This is a mono recording of a psaltery. This was recorded as-found with no tuning or cleaning done to the instrument. It is a series of single tones followed by two note chords. Dissonant and full of texture. It was recorded using an audio-technica at875r microphone at 48khz/24bit.

Just a melody in the spirit of the middle ages, folk, something like that. I tried to make harmony not too strict. You can use it in the game e. G. During the teleportation to the location like a village, a farm, etc. I sketched it in "musescore 2" when i downloaded this tool. Exported direct to flac. While i was on vacation, this two fellas just loved to bark almost all night long. Yeah, i know, some rest i got. . . :(so, at least i went out and recorded them with my zoom h6, xy mics, 44khz 16bit. They got pretty upset as you can see. There's some low frequency rumble at the beginning probably due to bad handling, sorry. Should be easily solved with a lo-cut, though.

This is a very lowfi recording of a xerox workcentre 7345 actually performing a copy of a single page. Includes a button beep at the start, fan noise, servo motor sounds, paper sorter moving sounds and lots of other mechanics being moved around. You really get an idea how complicated these modern machines are. . :). The bitrate is only 13 kbit/s and the resulting audio quality not very good, but the file size is really small. Maybe audio level needs normalizing, though.

I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.
