I believe this was recorded with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun in a concrete stairwell. You can hear the rain hitting the stairs and going down the drain. It's also hitting some junk at the top of the stairs. There are big thunder claps and more distant rumbles.

So budding musicians head out to the park where they can practice. Electrical hum created by my guitar lead resting on the table top while connected to a line 6 box going into my laptop. The line 6 software was also giving it lots of 'cavernous hall' reverb. Quite stereo too. It is a g as far as i can tell but slightly sharp so try shifting the pitch to get it in tune with other instruments.

I wanted to create a better sounding womb environment, and so i created this sound in audacity by combining a recording of my breathing along with a heart beat at 60 bpm, underwater sounds to simulate the womb environment and to top it off there's the muffled sound of a female voice reading a story to her unborn child. This sound is of a commercial airliner passing overhead. It was recorded using my zoom h4n stereo field recorder, as i faced east, looking over sun devil stadium in tempe, arizona on top of what they call "a mountain". It was captured around 3:30 in the afternoon, in the spring of 2014, with the airplane due east towards phoenix sky harbor airport, descending on approach.

This is then followed by the dial sounds starting with 1 then going all the way through to 0. By editing using the sounds a complete telephone process can be created. Recorded using zoom h2.

Samsara ekd was used for the kick, sent through eq and a couple of distortion plugins. Black noh snare was used for the snare, with a resonator and reverb placed on top of it, as well as eq and compression. Hcx was used for the hihats, with one eq plugin placed on it. The master channel got brickwalled (or bricked) using compressivecm vst.
