I put water on the frame drum and hit it several times to get a flat, rattly bass sound. Use my sound so you don't have to abuse your own drums. Recorded on an old ev pl-5.
120 bpm, 4/4, stereo, 44100, 32bit, beat created using cakewalk bbl. Used 3 vst kits to create: cakewalk tts-1 standard set, sitala vst loaded with linn ml1 dm samples, and cakewalk si-drum kit beat pusher prog. Mixed together.
Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). Com/), and then heavy modulated using lots of bandpass & notch filtering automation, pitch automation, distortion, resampling, & multiband compression. I'd recommend to splice things up a bit by slicing it into pieces & arranging them into something new.

One in a set of hi-hat. . . Like(?) sounds i made in sound forge. I don't actually remember if this was made from fm-synthesis, or from a recording. I think they could be good for percussion.
Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.
