It's winter and january in temperate rain forest country on vancouver island. The canvas awning is lowered above the hot tub and rain pounds away on the awning. You can hear each rain drop hit the canvas. Recorded with a zoom h1n.
Rain falling in my backyard. This is a very homogenous take, it almost sounds like burst noise with a couple of drops in the foreground. Recorded with a zoom h2n in m/s stereo mode.
Sounds a little like fireworks going off. Recorded on my phone inside a tent pitched under a tree, the heavy raindrops sound a bit like firecrackers or pops of musket fire?.
Proper rainforest simulation this- a low-pass filter self-oscillating, with a lot of modulation, run through both a delay and a reverb. The result was not recorded off the mixer, but by means of a hand-held zoom h1n, giving it an ‘outdoor’ ambience.
I recorded my whistle with this one too. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound. This is a bird making different sounds.
A windy morning in the rainforest with loads of frogs recorded on my iphone 12. If you use it i would be happy to see where the clips end up! :) thanks.
Rain on a walk in the rainforest birds can be heard in the distance recorded on my iphone 12. If you use it i would be happy to see where the clips end up! :) thanks.
This is a recording right next to water falling into a bucket while its raining. I have a second recording of it been recorded at about 5 feet away that is also uploaded. Enjoy.
A first contribution to the community, recorded on a hand held olympus vn810and edited in sound forge. Almost five minutes of a gentle rain as it sounded out my back door at midnight this new memorial day. I faded in and out, with the out being a bit longer. Enjoy!.
Playing a melody /solo on acoustic guitar. The mic is pointed toward the window. . . It is raining and you can hear different birds. Rode nt1-a > mixer > computer > energyxt.

This ambience was recorded during a film shoot in a house in a quiet part of a large city. It was about 3am so no cars. Action sounds have been edited so you get ambience only. Quiet useful i think. No need to credit. Enjoy!.
Rain that slowly weakens away. There's a bunch of water sounds like the rain hitting the roof and dripping on the deck. Recorded using an audio-technica atr2500-usb microphone.
Recorded in huntington, ny at 11:40 am with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). Light freezing rain and birds. Filtered and looped.
