I was going to record something, but that happened. I was going to not upload this one, because i perceive myself more dumb than yawning. . . But it may be useful for someone 🤷‍♂️ comment if that's your case.

Happened for real when i was going to record. I think this is my favourite from the three i've uploaded until now.

Hot water bottle noises made to imitate a car with its tire screeching. The vlip contains a variety of noises that have long, medium, short and sudden tire screeching imitations.

Recorded this in audacity, used reverb, pitch changing, vocoder, and used 4 tracks combined.

This is the source recording for my first sound made for my "a sound design everyday" project. Every day i will record a sound and then create designs, collages, and lil' music tidbits using the source recording and only the source recording. A recording of me digging a grave for a film i was making. By this point i was very tired in the sun, so expect heavy breathing, sniffling and tiresome digging.

A couple of minutes from the waiting area of an automotive tire store with the obligatory television on. The vending machine man is restocking the machines. The coke or soda machine hums and, for added realism, an employee asks for a refund and explains the problem.

Underhood recording of my renault 19 with oldish carburetted cleon engine (c2j). Double barrel webber 32 drt carb ~72ps engine. Start engine, tire skid, hard acceleration up to 6000 rpm and coast down to idle, several times. Throttle blips up to 7000 rpm. Mic: sony ecm-ds30p stereorecorder: sony mz-n707 mini disc, sp mode, agc: off. Wanted to test this cheap mic and custom made windscreen - this is my first car recording, and that's why i started with this cheap microphone, don't want to learn on expensive stuff. Still, i'm amazed how the recording turned out, it's $24 mic in not very silent area, yet it captured sound rather nicely. Windscreen (cost $0) turned out to be not that good :).

Tires squeal and a terrible impact is heard. What a terrible accident. Short, simple and completely bitter-sweet. Talk about coming to a complete stop?! this is what that sounds like.
