This is a simple recording of open air white noise of a quite room. I've used this in quite digital passes in some of my original music to help make the digital instrument sound a little less sterile. This is a full unedited take. You will want to crop the start and end sections so you don't here me cutting the recorder on and off ect. I hope you can use this if you need it!.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. The sound does not have to bee used for just ghosts, but pretty much anything. Like an opera singing in the shower. By the way, this sound was used in a song that i made. Modern noise - a quiet kitchen at night in an urban surrounding, and the constant sound of a big samsung fridge. Very distant tv sounds and voices. Recorded with a blue yeti on the floor (omnidirectional mode i think), cut to make it loop cleanly and boosted up a bit with goldwave. I kept it short (less than 2 minutes) to make it easier to manipulate in my video editor timelines. Hope someone finds it useful.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. This is similar to rain-on-veranda-roof-and-window-glass. Wav except instead of recording on the window sill, the device is hand-held aloft in the middle of the veranda and closer to the ceiling. The rain on roof sound is louder and less rain can be heard striking the glass windows. It's a typical intense winter rain storm with wind gusts and driving rain in the month of january on vancouver island.

Got a can of sriracha peas for my birthday. Accidentally plucked the pull-tab. Sounded good. Made everyone pause what was on tv so i could pluck it a bunch. Ate about 3-4 peas. I don't like sriracha. Much less on dry peas. My stomach got upset. Those few peas colored my burps for about an hour. The can lid was the real present all along. Incidentally captured: chair squeaks (funnily in time with the plucking), "hurry up", "(he's) documenting the sound", chuckling, "is that good enough?".

Warning that it's it's quite high pitched so you may need to pitch it down with the morphagene's pitch knob a good bit if you want it less harsh. I think i acidentally hit splice instead of record one time so there might be a random short splice somewhere, but maybe it adds some splice length dynamics. . .

A pluck on a jew's harp. Recorded late at night in my bedroom on a samsung mp3 player. I enhanced it to the best of my abilities in audacity since the original recording had a low bitrate (64kbps mp3), the volume was low and it had a lot of static noise. Unfortunately the recording have a lot less warmth to it than the instrument has in reality. I am not sure of the tone of the harp but i believe it is a c, if it is not please let me know. 1 of 15.

This is the sound my computer's fan made, recorded with my laptop. Apparently, this fan is crapping out and goes haywire after less than ten minutes. I will have to get a new one, but the sound may be useful for people who need examples of a loud, broken pc fan. Again, recorded with laptop, not best quality.
