A fly buzzing around a small room, bouncing off windowpanes, resting, repeating. Akg perception 220/400 mid-side stereo > sound devices mixpre-6 @ +50db 24/96 > adobe audition ( digital gain, noise reduction, downsampling ).
A fly buzzing around. The thumps are the fly bumping into the wall and a lampshade. This file is dry, so there's some low-frequency garbage from my holding the mic and following the fly. A high pass at around 200hz fixes that. Feel free to use this for whatever you want. 100% public domain.
I live near a rural airport. Small-engine plane flying by. Distant sound, not close up. I left a lot of ambience on the front and back end so you can choose when to fade in and out.
Simulated wing flaps of a bird or other creature created by waving a heavy bath towel and then speeding it up and adding a bit of eq. Recorded with a sterling audio st51 condenser mic. This is a duplicate of http://www. Freesound. Org/samplesviewsingle. Php?id=71417 which may cause issues because of a missing wav header in the original.
Some bees flying around some fruits. Some parts are good, some have some wind on it. If you need a short sample, this may be it. These are teneriffan bees btw. . Oh, yes, recorded in 2008 with a digidesign m-box and a sm58 if i remember right. Old but ok.
