Recorded while on a walk in myneighborhood. Washed up on the street was amixture of sand, rocks, and loose gravel. In the background a bug can be heard that i wasunfortunately unable to edit out, but i hope its ok. (re-uploaded because i forgot to trim unwanted audio sections). -----. Footsteps in ground exterior and marble in interior.

I made this recording by using a metal shovel and ramming it into the icy snow. The snow has been around for a couple months now and has been rained on and turned to tiny ice crystals. It sounds like it could be sand, grainy dirt or rock dust.

Just waves at the beach. Nightrecording with almost no other noise (no birds, people, cars; some low frequency wind noise); 48/24-stereorecording with zoom h1, normalized. I´ve just uploaded a new file without low frequency wind noise.

Ocean waves crashing onto the beach at three distances, close, near, far. There is a little automobile rumble in the background for the "near" and "far" section. In the "close" section you can hear the water being absorbed into the sand.

Eating a crunchy cookie. Last seconds also sound like footsteps on a sand like surface.

We could see the beautiful, empty beach beneath us – but we couldn't reach it. Left hand: zoom h4n proright hand: empty water bottle.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. It's a high tide and the waves are slowly lapping at the kelp strewn sandy beach. Recorded at rathtrevor beach, vancouver island, on the salish sea. There was a dog barking in the far distance, edited out. I also edited the ending with a fade out.

Excavator digging in sand, rocks falling sometimes. You can hear the engine from the excavator working.
