A power up sound for any sort of mechanical, high tech, or sci-fi charging up sound. Can also work for turning on jets and turbofans. This was recorded by a tascam dr-05 and is a printer cooling down reversed.

Slinky contact pickup swinging and flicking technique.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. Made taking this coiled wire which looked like a giant slinky, shaking it.

I made this laser sound in ableton live. I needed to make something that resembled a large space cannon, or something of the sort.

Laser automatic heavy.

A remake (made using beepbox. Co) of the sound of a cyber-gun shooting in the 1966 doctor who episode "the tenth planet". The sound is basically just a dissonant beep.

This sound was made with audacity by editing together a generated beep, with a sound made by repeating a knock on a piece of cardboard. Hope you like it! :).

A weird weird noise i made a while ago that might come in handy for weird things.

A target lock beep (in my mind similar to the beeps heard in the death star strategy session in star wars) playing at 90 bpm.

Some sound sample ive had for many years. Dont remember what synth it was, could of been the jupiter 8 or jp 8000.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. I made this one just for fun! i just fell in love with sound design today all over again. I hope you get a kick out of it!.

A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

A large energy charging then firing with a persistent explosion that ends with a massive blast. Created using a wide variety recorded sounds (including a washing machine, sliding of rocks in a metal bucket, and various other objects being thrown and collided), mixed and heavily edited in audacity.

This is a single shot version of a star wars-type blaster i made by mixing the sound of a cable tap with a gunshot.

This was made as more of a sifi air rifle rather than a "laser" pistol. However it can still work both ways. The track has three sound effects. They all have a "similar" sound but some very in pitch or tempo.

Another of the recordings i did on my phone at work of a steel cable at tension between phone poles. Hitting it with a wrench and making laser sounds. Cleaned up in audacity as the other one was. One is better than the other but can't remember which one i liked the best. Use as you please. If you use it for something and have the time to tell me where it ended up, that's cool.
