Small fountain in the backyard recorded in the middle of the night so there are more or less no other background sounds. You can hear the low rumble of a car going past the other side of the house around 0:45 tho.

Recorded with h4n pro with 90deg mic orientation in front of my house. I used diy deadcat, but you can still hear a little bit of wind rumble. Kinda relaxing sound tho.

A short track recorded during subway ride in poland. Contains the sound of speeding subway train engine, door opening/closing and some quiet talks in the background. I'm using this in a song of mine, thought i'll share it with you guys tho. Recorded with xperia u's recorder.

Running up stairs - maybe a low shelf here and there will help - definitely a usable recording - nice feel - on a personal note i was very tired at the top - it was 5 flights - tho bad mic handling (removed) on the first few flights.

Kinda a vapor-y inspired bit of music for a project of mine. I don't know if i will use it or if you will find it useful, but i thought i might as well upload it. Part of "semiloopdrumsamples" package, please dl the whole package. . With 'semilooped' i mean that only the ride and hihat are longer loops and the kick and snare is separate for better flexibility. I only made basic patterns tho as this package is mostly meant for creating custom playalong/click tracks. No eq's, i'll let the user do that. . Again for flexibility. All samples are stereo(48khz24bitflac), since the sound of the kick naturally leaks in the overheads and the overheads are a big part of the snare sound.

A description of every word that normally comes out of my mouth. Part of a few test recordings trying to figure out my microphone. The clip has been compressed and de-essed. Not fully happy with the eqing, tho. Still learning. For those interested in the technical stuff, i'm using a rode nt1 (the newer, black one), recorded with a zoom h6 at 96k/24bit, processed and edited in vegas pro at same samplerate.

A simple multi-sampled synthetic spacebass pack, containing 25 samples, derived from 2 octaves of a home made soft-synth patch. The original quality was 24 bits with a sample rate of 88. 2khz, which i converted with a very good src to 16 bits and 44. 1khz. Not that is was that important after all considering the fact that the patch itself has a grainy character in the higher frequencies. . . No compressing, equalizing whatsoever involved, the panning is pretty wide tho, with left and right sounding rather different, but in stereo it still feels pretty balanced i think.

I tried to get a surround recording using mics, but there was a horrible street musician playing off in the distance. I thought it wouldn't be clear in the recording, but one of the mics picked him up quite well. The recording was ruined, so i did a little processing at home and came up with this freaky bit for your listening pleasure. Not sure if it's usable beyond listening, tho. . .
