Part of a pack of source recordings i created to use as part of the sound design for the ios/android game 'hipster zombies'. This is the sound of a toy skull type thing my girlfriend found, which has a lid you can open and then there's a gooey brain inside which makes awesome squelchy sounds.

The hiss in the background is the constant float of steam from the ground along with the regular release of pockets of air from these odd little spitting mud holes. Pretty cool to see and producing a very unique sound. Not sure if it'll be useful for anything, but it was too cool to pass up. I recorded myself eating a slice of an apple. Using a sony ic recorder held closely to my mouth i chewed it very rudely then removed some background noise in fl studio's edison editor and then used fl limiter to really up the volume.

This recording is honestly more amusing than good. I was walking on a trail at victoria bryant park when i found a part that was flooded. I tried to go around it, and accidentally stepped in some mud. So i took a minute to record myself walking in it.
Stirring up something with a wooden spoon and decided it was gross enough to record. I tried to keep the stirring sounds out and just have the wetness, but easier said than done.
