This is the sound of a sheet metal that is under high tension, hitting it with a small key produced a laser fire type of sound. Recorded using a contact mic as the area is surrounded by a lot of noise, the contact mic cut out everything. Two contact microphones recording an engine from a mini cooper s in sport mode. Surprisingly aggressive-sounding. Intended to use for a race car asset. Contact microphones are stethoscope-like mics that you place onto a surface to record vibrations. This way, i was able to record the raw engine without wind or perspective. The left channel is the chassis and the right is the engine block. . . Blending the two together produces a great sound. Free to use.

I recorded this at late night in a rural german area at summer, approximately 150 - 200 meters away from the party (the party took place on a big and open field). The wind was blowing away from the people towards me, which is the reason, why you can hear the people well, even though there were trees between the people and the recording micorphone. Mabe you can hear a few cars very far in the distance along with the near taxis, picking the people up to take them home, too.

Exciting music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I came up with the staccato-strings first and developed the music from there. Added a string-melody and later on a minor melody on french horn. Hammered two chords on piano in the back. Got a mysterious detective feel to it i think. So i named the tune "detective hawkeye". Could be useful in anything dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific,mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind.
