Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
One of around eight effects created for a production of "a tale of two cities"recording of purpose built model guillotine chopping a mixture of veg. 4 mics were used 1 from top, a couple at the bottom and an attached pzm. Result was pitch shifted down.
Various gore-like sounds made by breaking and peeling sticks of celery (version 2). There is some background noise of birdsong, but it's not very noticeable and can be cut out :).

This is the sound of snapping a large metal clamp opening and closing. Recorded with a sound devices mixpre3ll and a matched set of audio technica at943 microphones.
Amplification at -28,1 to diminish sound. The sound has an effect which turn; a rounded up effect. Retro flanger has an average stall (8,02 ms) and flange frequency (1,58 hz).
Wrinkled a plastic bag (home to rubber bands, who played no part in this recording) on my desk to try to make an ice freezing sound. Instead it sounds like stepping on cracking ice.
