Finally uploaded a new sound on here after over a million years. Just decided to mess around with audacity and i made this abomination. You can go ahead and use it in any projects; i really don't care.

This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

A violin bow scraped back and forth on various parts of the neck of my acoustic bass with a little bit of reverb and compression applied, several samples to choose from, and a bit at the end that sounds kind of like a big monster snarling. Recorded with a blue yeti blackout.

I generated this sound for a scene of a short video in which a zombie attacks my friend. It's a loud burst of roars and snarls, altered using audacity. I recorded myself doing my best zombie voice, then i lowered the pitch, boosted the bass, and added a phaser to make it more wet and added some feedback. I hope you find it useful!.

I got inspired by the alien films and alien isolation, so i decided to design some alien xenomorph sounds. They are printed with and without the fx i designed to suit the environment of the alien isolation game (metal corridors and vent shafts). 5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

My dog growls when you go anywhere near him while he is eating, i noticed he seems to leave a little bit of food so he could run to it and growl (perform) when i came downstairs later on. So, i placed a condenser mic on his bowl and recorded him in 96k 24bit. I will no doubt use this in a short film and it's here for use by others too. Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.
