Static from 1010 on the am band of the radio recorded from a digital tuner. The jumbled noise sounds like a harsh wind with an old school chattering satellite chirping away.
Recording of the static noise of my babyphone. Recorded with zoom h1. Free to use, no credit needed. You can't let me know in the comments for what you have used it.
Included on this reel are 40 splices of static, captured while scanning the vl, vf and uhf bands on an analog television set. Since the u. S. Conversion to digital broadcast signals in 2009, these bands have been providing endless streams of noise for all to enjoy.
I recorded mostly nothing, then normalized it, so it was mostly loud static. I used audacity's noise remover to make the sound and it's wahwah effect to make it move across stereo space. Very interesting, good for static and alien voices.
Exploring the medium wave frequencies. Everything here sounds creepy. Radio used was a grundig yacht boy 207 with a broken antenna, recorded on a tascam dr-05x.

Scrolling through various shortwave frequencies, caught couple tones among the noise. Sounded like sad horns. Radio used was a grundig yacht boy 207 with a broken antenna, recorded on a tascam dr-05x.
Grabación que simula la estática como si las luces sufrieran un corto (recorded sound simulating lights cutting off like static, with elements in the studio).
A simple sine-generator piped through a slew of wacky effects automated with randomized lfos. I added some cabinet emulation to give it a 'living room' feel but left it dry enough to add additional stereo/reverb processing. P. S. It loops cleanly. Software: bitwig studio.
