Original file name: wah whistle suspense bees - 30 september 2012specs: demo at 120 bpm, stereo, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav formatdescription: created the sound using the thor polyphonic synthesizer in propellerheads reason. Sounds weird when played in isolation, but sounds decent when played as an arp or melody. I have included the "c" note spanning 7 octaves in case the samples need to be loaded into a sampler. Sample pattern: demo | c0 | c1 | c2 | c3 | c4 | c5 | c6. Contact (pm) me if you want any changes to this sample (please include freesound sample number 166169). A morphagene reel culled from an improvisation i made on a eurorack modular synth. Qu-bit electronix scanned is the sole voice here. Splices in the reel are ordered from somewhat delicate (taps, pulses, etc. ) to pretty chaotic noise. All recorded into a zoom h6.

This second sound is a recorded sound of a bike chain, i modified it using some effects :1-normalize2-wahwah effect with-frequency = 3. 3 hz-start phase = 0-depth = 70%-resonance = 2. 5-wah frequency shift = 30%3-melt closingthe final sound gives an impression of a sound under water.

This is a berimbau, a brazilian gourd instrument made of a wire strung tightly on a piece of bowed staff. There is a wah kind of effect made as you move the gourd in to your belly. There is some ambiance added to the sample, but it's mostly the instrument that you hear.

No reverberation of the drip2 sample. "plippy". Legend:. "plippy" - short, low attack, low release. "ba-doom-umf" - heavy bass, similar to a large mass object being dipped underwater. Low attack, medium decay, low-medium sustain, low release. "slappy" - self-explantory, low attack but high release. "no-oh-wah" - sort of surreal acoustic profile. A combination of low attack, low sustain and release.

Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. This is a sample taken from a longer piece.

Original sound captured using a zoom h5 recorder and a rode nt5 microphone. Cut and reversed in ocenaudio. Timestretching and filtering (pro-filter, talk wah) applied using reaper. Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/8th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.
