Hoover Glitch
Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

Animals Florida Mockingbird In My Backyard
Just a quick recording before class today. Recorded from a tascam dr-07 mk ii stereo in mp3 192 kbps 48,000 hz, pointed a bit to the sky toward a florida mockingbird about 2 meters away. If you listen closely enough, there's some crows in the bg too. Ambiance sound is the sound of a busy divided highway about 500 meters away. I processed this sound in sony sound forge a bit to remove some of it. Just beware, the sound file contains a slight camera double beep at 9 and 15 seconds, although for student film purposes i don't see any penalty for it. There's also some slight wind noise in the beginning since my clean foot sock didn't cover all of it, but same mind set as above, won't be too big a deal. Here's a video. Http://www. Youtube. Bangkok Taoist Funeral
On an even night of april 2018, in a huge temple in bangkok -none of the famous ones-, i went to crash funerals -i truly recommend do this; people is very nice and the spectacle it's just amazing, you have singing, acrobatics, free food. . . This recording came from a taoist funeral -that night they have also some others in that temple -i need to find out which one, but i think it's next to sam sen subway station-, many, buddhist funerals. Just now, i realized the singing it's in mandarin. Over the funeral chatting, you heard the singer voice and the instrument, timbals, erhu. A very oriental ambiance. Not edited. Recorded with my old, and now quite cranky, zoom ii recorder.
