This is a slightly too-loud recording made on a mid-afternoon weekday bus trip in suburban shanghai. One can hear the automated announcements, the voice of the ticket collector and other passengers, the traffic outside and the sound of the bus accelerating and braking.

The recorder's rear mics, featured in this file, are facing away from the street into the sidewalk at a right angle at a height of approx. 60 cm. Traffic is passing in both directions, about 1 min. Into the recording, a bus stops and continues onward. Recording was conducted with a zoom h2. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording, mics set to 120° dispersion.

A 22 minute bus ride, almost silent. Only some passengers getting on and off, very short discussions with the driver and all basic sounds you can hear inside a bus. I guess this will leave you a lot of possibilities. Recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.

This sound was made by me, i tied down my canon powershot a460 digital camera inside the engine bay of my 1993 rover 620si, and it's got a petrol honda engine, no turbo on this version. I had my video recording on my camera in the engine bay while i was driving. I started the engine up and took it for a drive. I simply took the sound off the video. I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called.
