Nyc subway train arrives, doors open, announcement of direction, doors close, train departs. I stood on the platform at the montrose l station with a sony minidisc and recorded the entire process of a nyc subway train coming and going. Low noise, though you may wish to use a high-pass filter as there is so much bass in the material.

A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.

This sound was made by me, i tied down my canon powershot a460 digital camera inside the engine bay of my 1993 rover 620si, and it's got a petrol honda engine, no turbo on this version. I had my video recording on my camera in the engine bay while i was driving. I started the engine up and took it for a drive. I simply took the sound off the video. This is a sound of a mercedes benz 709d mini bus driving on a really hard icy road. It was a rattly old bus, everything squeaked and rumbled on it. As part of my sounds collection i pulled my iphone at the london tube and recorded it while standing inside the cart. The recording is from the second i left a station until we got to the next one (including an opening doors). No process was done.

Calm ocean breeze simulation, created using the zoom h1. Sound was created using water faucet, and carpet to catch ambient close sounds to create this effect. Added pop compression filter and verb. Cars can be heard driving by, along with a faint humming with from some machinery and a small amount of wind. There is also some faint talking, laughing and coughs from a group in one of the apartment buildings, which can add to the effect. There are two instances when cars drive into the parking lot (about at 3:20 and 3:40), and shortly afterward a person walks by the mic. Recorded with the microphone of a nikon coolpix camera.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open.
