Metro station in vienna (wien), austria, followed by a ride in the metro. 1) announcement in german and english: unattended luggage will be removed2) atmosphere at the platform, trains coming, door opening, warning, closing, trains leave3) announcement in german: "seien sie achtsam" - no begging allowed4) ride in the u-bahn (metro/subway) from station "taubstummengasse" to "karlsplatz", announcement of station in the train5) stepping out at karlsplatz station, platform atmosphere, escalator, station/shoppping-area atmosphere6) coming out to the place in front of the vienna opera.

Loved the creaky ambience of the station as i passed through there at midnight. Listen for the periodic creaks and moans of the machinery. Don't forget to let me know what you use it for!.

I tried to get a surround recording using mics, but there was a horrible street musician playing off in the distance. I thought it wouldn't be clear in the recording, but one of the mics picked him up quite well. The recording was ruined, so i did a little processing at home and came up with this freaky bit for your listening pleasure. Not sure if it's usable beyond listening, tho. . .

Foley audio of passing cars on a country lane. Cars passed behind the direction the camera was facing. There's a mild stabilisation noise you may hear which could detriment your audio if not removed. Other than this, the sound is eloquent enough. Oin camera mic has been used from a canon 7d with no wind filter. Recorded in burnley, lancashire.

This is audio of just about the entire ride of the powell-hyde cable car line in san francisco, recorded on 08/26/2015. Late evening trip through the city. I recorded this while i was on the steps on the right side of the car, holding the recorder in one hand and my life in the other! tourists talking, the operator ringing the bells and using the brake levers, etc. Recorded with a tascam dr-70d, built in mics. This is a long ride on one of san francisco's trolley cars, recorded on 08/25/2015. Evening, past rush-hour, so the trolley is pretty empty. There's some muffled talking on the driver's radio. I made this melody in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's based on a melody i made on trumpet. Then i added some synthezizers to get more atmosphere and exitment to it.
