A single long happy contented sigh of a man aged between 30 and 45. Imagine he's sliding into a hot bath. Or taking a sip from a well deserved cup of coffee. He's a very happy man. Recorded at home on a rode nta1 mic using adobe audition cs6 on a pc. The voice is my own, the only edit was a cleaning of bg noise on the record and a trim to remove extraneous sound.

This recording features, what many would say is the most gorgeous bird-song in the midwest---the flute-like wood-thrush. Recording made in july in deep forst; a plane is lazily droning overhead, and the ever-present chorus of summer insects is heard. Made with zoom h4n using the internal microphones.

An actual new production instead of old stuff! made in june of 2020. A dark intro implies the humming engines of the spaceship you're in as you're traveling at speeds unimaginable. Slowly the ship starts to spring to life. As you open your eyes, slow but huge bands of light sweeps across your cryogenic sleeping pod, as if being scanned. The pod starts to move while you're still in it, going through chambers filled with machinery and bleeping computer stations, until it stops in front of a huge closed door. Suddenly, your pod opens up as well as the door. Your eyes are greeted with the majestic sight of a gigantic control room with windows as far as the eyes can see, galaxies fills your field of view, a beautiful synergetic view of the grandeur of space and the hundreds of lights of the control room, welcoming you to a new adventure. 2 simple chords form the basis of a textural composition supplied with sound effects. Plugins used: ni kontakt 5 with atom hub's the planet, doom by sampletraxx, space by rigid audio, ni absynth, and massive vst synths. Extra sound effects: shocking signal and ui designer by sampletraxx, heavily sampled and mangled. Effects: izotope mastering plugins, a bunch of fl studio stock reverb and eq, guitar rig 5, blackhole reverb, replika xt, raum reverb.

It is a sound that, despite presenting some variations, transmits relaxation, thanks to the fact that it is not a very strong sound and is originated from nature. It did not have to be triggered, it is the natural song of a bird.

Night-time wide angle stereo recording of manhattan, as heard from across the east river, the recorder was kindly allowed access to the veranda of the riverview restaurant & lounge in long island city and is facing the manhattan skyline. Some noises of the restaurant can be heard in the background, very subdued, the quiet lapping of the east river can be heard in the foreground, and manhattan bustle and traffic on the fdr drive is in the wide range. Recorded in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

4ch-surround, wide angle field recording of the seaside at warnemünde on the german baltic riviera. Recording was conducted in october 2013 on a hotel balcony approx. 100m away from and 20m above the shoreline. Recorded with a zoom h2, these are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

This was filmed during summer morning in june, 2018 in the lush woodlands of duddingston village. It's one of my favourite places to visit and most of my nature videos are recorded here. A peaceful, droning, relaxing summer soundscape of the midwestern forest. For starters, in the background you hear a river of wind steadily swirling around the oaks, and the maples and the sycamore trees. A blessed northeast wind-friend. The insects take over, and on top of that, a single, solitary bird, i think a flycatcher, softly calls his one-note. Even though this is the time of year that the visitors, those beautiful neo-tropical migrants, fill the woods, after several months of raising of raising a family, they are quiet, resting now. . . Letting the insects signify the passage of time and the slow march to autumn. In about 6 weeks from now, most of our visitors will have left. . . Back down south, their job of raising the next crop of insect-eaters done. . . And the woods, the forest, the nearly-dry creekbed will be packing it in. Recording done on saturday july 29th, 2017 at 11:30am in the forest near a creek with sound devices 702 and a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone pointed straight up into the trees.
