Exterior ambience with birds chirping and very slight rain. It's all quite relaxing, if i do say so myself. Recorded on a stereo pair of akg c568 b microphones, into a sound devices 633 recorder. Trimmed in adobe audition with a gentle high pass filter, no other effects added.

Recorded from a second floor window of the caledonian hotel on union terrace. Cars can be heard passing below and a train rolls past in the nearby valley.

Several different takes combined, recorded from the second floor apartment of an nyc townhouse. The rain is hitting a neighboring rooftop which sits next to the window. The thunder is in the distance and slowly moves away, fading as the track goes on.
