These are cars and trucks coming off a bridge into new york city.

I set up three mics in our flat and went out drinking. The sound is mostly traffic and drunk people.

Taken from a window, this is a soundscape in vilnius old town, lithuania. You can hear a concert happening far away, cars, and general city hum / noise.

Location: tijuana, mexicotime: december, 2016. Riding a route taxi through the streets of tijuana. It's the evening on a weekday and people are coming off work. An ambulance cruises by. Passengers are silent most of the ride until minute 4:40 when the driver stops on a busy boarding zone. Coins jingle when people pay the driver. The door slides open and you can hear people on the street chatting, while passengers get off and new ones come in.

4ch surround recording of the intersection of the opernring and kärntener straße in vienna/austria. The recording was conducted close range at street level directly at the intersection by a tram line, the rear mics, featured in this file, are pointing onto the sidewalk, away from the street, at a right angle. The close range affords very detailed reproduction of vehicle and tire noises, as well as the tram driving by the mics at the end of the recording. Recording conducted with a zoom h2. These are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

This is traffic on hwy 134 (next to walt disney studios / warner brothers studios) recorded while standing on the hollywood way overpass on 11/16/2018 in burbank, ca. A diesel flatbed tow truck idles for two minutes, moves the truck into position,backup warning beeps, moves the car back, adjusts the position of the truck once more, extends the rollback tilt-tray, connects the car, winches the car up, retracts the rollback tilt-tray, secures chains to the car, then drives off.
