Rain & distant thunder around 8pm in warren, michigan (suburb of detroit). Recorded on a zoom h1n. Some faint traffic sounds & a bit of white noise coming from an air-conditioner unit. Zoom h1n was placed in my porch light compartment about 2 feet below our rain gutter. Most of the original hour long recording was ruined due to wind gust, but i edited it down to the only continuous 11 minutes without the gust of wind.

Field-recording of a person walking home at night on a road, summer, the sound of footsteps on dry gravel. This recording is edited down from the longer recording in this pack. I reduced it down to footsteps on gravel, removed the car passing sounds, and removed the gate sounds at the end. This recording is 1 minute and 44 seconds long, 18. 4 mb wav file.

Recorded on terrace using my phone's mic. Sounds of crickets is continuous throughout the clip. Chirp of birds is also audible occasionally. Recorded in the town of rawatbhata, rajasthan, india.

Enormous symphony of tree frogs, a few crickets and even a foreign frog makes an entrance on this track. Mono, recorded with sm58, eq'd, compressed slightly and mixed to lufs levels indicated on file name.

Inspired by recent makenoise cicada series. Added clouds to an o-ctrl (fast) sequenced mimeophon output and sending partly back though feedback loop. X-pan did the rest using ochd as the lfo mod. Source for panning and fade in/out.

Recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). Recorded in a sunny, calm-windy afternoon. The sound was no post-processed.
