Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Same mix as my other "five minutes of rain" upload, but without the reverb in case you want to add your own. Process:. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal applied. Recorded basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. .

This is a short clip from an intense thunderstorm, recorded from my second story queens apartment from an open bathroom window during the early afternoon of july 15, 2015. Some traffic and airplanes can be heard in the background. This clip was recorded using an apple iphone 6 and the zoom iq6 x/y stereo microphone with a rode dead kitten windscreen at low volume, normalized later. This recording lasts until the battery on my iphone hit 5%, at which point the zoom handy recorder app automatically stopped.

Recorded 5/20/11 at 10:43am on a bright sunny day in washington. Many crows were flying overhead and i recorded them on my ipod. The sounds in the background is not wind (although it sounds like it), but are cars slowly driving by about 100 yards away. The crows were directly above.

The beginning of a thunderstorm, from normality to first drops of rain, with approaching thunder, and eventually a full downpour. 1. There are birds picking at seeds on a nearby rooftop, which can be heard before the rain. 2. The birds flutter away just before the rain. 3. The rain starts around the 10 minute mark. 4. Full downpour starts around the 12:11 mark. Recorded on june 08, 2021 from the second floor window of an nyc apartment building, facing the inner-bay. Edited on june 12, 2021 to combine a string of takes, remove construction noise, and noise from within the apartment. Generated 10 minutes of white noise, applied some eq and what i may call stereo expansion, and got this thing that should be good enough to be used as an ambient sound for cold weather or polar wind. Many of the sounds i have found here and elsewhere, have other noises and/or were created through other methods like blowing.

A strong thunder storm passes over the island of bermuda in the atlantic ocean at 4:00am. Ten thunderbolts of varying intensity can be heard against a backdrop of falling rain and singing treefrogs. Recorded this on a sunny evening at the cote d'azur, near toulon. Two iphones approx 4 meteres apart (it was all that i had). Syncronized and merged to a stereo-wave in reaper. The moderate waves move the stones of the beach and create an awesome sound. It was practically windstill, so i did not use a lowcut. Enjoy and tell me if you use it! that would be awesome.

This was recorded while sitting in a closet during a tornado warning as a thunder-storm raged outside the house. It was recorded on april 28, 2020 in tulsa, oklahoma. There are several very low frequency booms from the deep thunder. You can hear the faint sound of tornado sirens blaring outside. There is also the intermittent sound of panicked breathing by one of the two dogs that were also riding out the storm, sheltered in the closet. A thunderbolt rattles some wood hangers on the hanger rod.

Santa's in a blizzard in the north pole! but you can still hear his bells! these bells were recorded on a windy day in the suburbs of michigan. These are your typical bronze bells being slammed against a glass window on a door as the door was being shut.

Recorded on february 9, 2001 in an old appartment complex lobby on the 2nd floor. We held a fundraiser for a local charity and it included a place for people to get together, play board games and an n64 was set up. The sound features three people including myself playing a multiplayer level of donkey kong, people chatting, the heater running, elevator, faint backgroudn music and the sounds of the nearby hallway.
