An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.

At the close of the children's hospital telethon immediately after it was announced that more than $4 million had been raised, people on the phone banks started cheering, this as the closing credits were being run on the tv screen. This is non-descript cheering, my recording in a public setting having been invited as a journalist to be there to report for broadcast. There are no copyright issues associated with this recording. Recreated sounds of a field recording done for loyola high school. There are only two sounds under an attribution license. For the first sound, i just made the duration shorter. So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. Literally do not have anytime now to study animation have to raise my daughter. But this lovely piece has been sitting on my hard drive. . . . I was curious what it would look like if it was animated in any way. . . So here it is! please message me if you ever get a chance to animate this piece at all. . . I'd love to know what you did to it :).
