I was trying to get some fx for the soundscape of a supermarket riot scene i was doing. For this i recorded the rustling of plastic packets of pasta and rice in my kitchen cupboard. Towards the end i emptied a whole packet of pasta onto the kitchen floor. Recorded using a boss br-600.

I made this recording when visiting india in 2019. Next to the street there was a fleamarket with vendors playing pre recorded advertisements for their products. You also hear people chatting, motorcycles passing by and chlidren laughing.

This is just my bit of fun and something i made for my own phone. After recording some supermarket chimes, i made them into a silly message notification. Note: the voice is a standard text to sound (i need this software because i'm blind) with added echo. Enjoy!.

A walk through ridley road market in dalston, east london. Lots of people chatting and music playing. As with many markets in london there are lots of languages being spoken. You can hear traders calling out what they're selling. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. I'm friendly with the clerks at my local 7-11 convenience store in studio city, so i asked if i could leave my mic on the back counter for a few minutes. Interesting door bell when customers come and go, as well as the sound of babies crying, etc. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.

It's a sound of a polish carrefour crowded supermarket (złote tarasy, warsaw, poland). There are ventilation fans audible, people's footsteps, cash registers beeping, shopping baskets, unified queue automated director speaking "kasa numer 6, kasa numer 10" etc. Recorded with zoom h2.

Sounds at a grocery store checkout complete with beeps and some music in the background. The cashier first greets the customer with a "bonjour/hi" a typical bilingual greeting in quebec. The sounds near the end are the customer (me) pushing the cart away from the cash with the next client's beeps heard a little more faintly. Recorded on a samsung galaxy s3.

Recorder placed right next to the fast flowing river. Distant main road traffic can easily be heard as can a few birds. Recorded on a zoom h5 using the internal capsules.

Recorded on a zoom h5 handy recorder with an xy condensor microphone capsule, on 05 february, 10 am (gmt+8) on a high rise residential apartment. The sounds are of dad sorting out his papers, while the neighbour scrubs something outside my front door; downstairs the motor vehicles make noise.

It's not the sound of an actual cash register but the combination of 5 different single sounds: 2 sounds of a printer, once being open and once being closed. A box full of rubbish being shaked, a ratchet and a small bell. Equipment used: akg c214 / focusrite saffire pro24.
