This is my second alarm recording produced with lmms (ami evan) then imported in audacity where i recorded my own voice and added a vocoder to make it sound more robotic.

Series of extra and/or ultraterrestrials vocalizations, perhaps ancient and lost tribes -dialects of unknown origin. Low to midrange. From the soundlab. Enjoy!.
A loop that i made exclusively with sounds from freesound. The sounds in this loop are not edited, only volume and/or length, so you hear the raw sounds. I cannot credit all the people who made the sounds because there are just to much sounds used. 124bpm enjoy ;).
A long metal spring was glued onto a cardboard tube, and when whirled, it makes a very strange but interesting sound. A zoom h6 recorder was used with the shotgun/pistol mic.
A few very awkward loops made with a vst called thingumajig. Not sure if it's on kvr or not, i got it from a different site, i forgot what though, if you find it please link to it!.
This sound effect was recorded for a college project, where it was used for an ambient sound of an alien spaceship. I decided to upload the sound onto here so that other people can use it. The source of this sound effect is the sound of a pc.
A patch in the eventide dsp4000 kept bugging out on me and this was the result. I couldn't be mad about the glitch because it sounded so cool when it did it's thing. I was just lucky enough to capture it.
For this sound, i generated a square wave at a frequency of 440 hz and an amplitude of 0. 80 and a duration of 1 second. I choosed the following effects:1- wahwah with frequency f=1. 5hz , amplitude= 70 %, resonance = 2. 5 and offset frequency = 30%2. Repeat3- compressor (x2)4- fade in (half of the sound)5- fade out ( the other half of the sound)6 - phaser with 10 phases7 - paulstretch with the stretching factor=5 and resolution = 0. 258- echo with 1 second delay , decay factor=0. 59 - cut (to arrange the sound). After all this effects, the sound is like a sound recorded in space with echos.
My formal rendition of this sound ; ). Http://freesound. Org/people/so6er/sounds/95337/. Put it through adobe audition for tempo precision. Then, ran it through fl studio (phaser, bpf delay, reverb, compression). Then back to audition for final mastering. Please enjoy and credit. Aum.
This time you are in the enemy spacecraft. You can hear how the photon shots hit the metal body, sound variation depending how far from the hit you are.
Alt version of a melody i came up with in midi shifting notes around. The sound is from an acoustic guitar note sample of mine with effects, ran through structure free in pro tools.
In honor of my new guru pramahansa yogananda, i searched for a swan sample. Then i added: time stretch, high pass sweep, flange, rotator pann, delay @ 124 bpm,. Thank you guru, namaste.
For the sound i would like to create like an "extraterrestrial signal", i took a "sifflet" and i play with it, add opening and closing effect, reverse the sens and finish the set with a battery sound to put a bit of "suspens". . .
Horror birds - morning birds recorded with h2n, cloned to 4 tracks in audacity, pitch shifted by various amounts and one of the tracks paul-stretched and sped up. Mixed down but then removed lower frequencies (wind or traffic rumble became too noticeable). Normalized. Here's the result.
A rendition of this sound:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/kollege/sounds/8153/. Just ran it through abelton live. 1. Autopan/gate 2. Erosion 3. Eq eight 4. Ping pong 5. Reverb 6. Compressor (all automated). Please enjoy.
This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.
